Process and Maintenance Manager
The Role
Reporting directly to the Process and Maintenance Manager, the apprentice will work as part of the maintenance/facilities and process team taking responsibility for both reactive and proactive maintenance and process related tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify faults, repair & report as required
- Planning & undertaking planned preventative maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns using our TekDat app
- Control mould tool storage area
- Submission of work completion reports, via our maintenance app
- PPM’s & reactive work to facilities & factory assets
- Work closely with subcontractors whilst promoting safe work practises
- Set-up new & existing aluminium mould tools ready for production
- Monitor production process & work with production to overcome issues
- Working closely with the Process Manager setting the process & driving improvements
- Conduct internal HSE internal audits & report findings
- Champion 5S around the factory
Knowledge and Experience
- Experience of working with / maintaining polyurethane dispensing machine
- Experience working with hydraulics, pneumatics & gear pumps
- Basic electrical skills
- Pro-active approach to Quality and Safety
- Bench working skills
- Able to read technical drawings
- COSHH Awareness
Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE’s (English & Maths) min Level 4 / Grade C
- IOSH Managing safety or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance / working toward or equivalent experience
